For this challenge, we designed a robot that can stay on a table without falling off. You can watch the video below.
This is the program we used with LabView. ^^^^
Portfolio Guide Reflection
1. State the assignment (problem/project) in your own words.
2. What are your input factors? (What do you need to know or do before you can begin?) Include the research you did.
3. Describe the process in detail. Explain the steps you followed in order to complete the project.
4. Describe the final output / product in detail: (what are we looking at?)
5. Describe feedback you received during the project (suggestions, comments, etc). From peers, instructor ect.. How did you use this feedback to correct issues with your project?
6. What did you learn during the assignment such as tools, skills, design concepts, software, hardware, etc? ,
7. If you were to do the project again, what would you do differently and why? Provide reasons and examples
1. Make a robot that can drive on a table without falling off.
2. We needed to know how to use a pressure sensor to operate motors.
3. We had to build the robot first of course. Then we mounted the pressure sensor so that it was compressed when the robot was on the table. Then we programmed the robot.
4. The robot used the pressure sensor to operate its motors and reverse when the robot went off the edge of the table.
5. Mr. Croke sugested I had my robot reverse for a longer amount of time.
6. I now have a beter understanding of programing a robot using loops and case structures.
7. I wouldn't change anything. The robot worked as expected.
