Photo 1This photo is the definition of perspective. I believe this is a strong photo due to the point of view, as well as its visual image with its lines and structure. The pattern of the bricks make this photograoh unique and create a sense of pathway, although the viewer is looking at a 2D image. The lines and shaped conduct the eye throughout the image and create a sense of dimension. Its contrast also makes for a "dark" vibe, and against the lighter brick material, makes for a strong contrasting composition.

Photo 2The painting with light project has given a lot of space for creativity and the use of vibrant colors. This photograph strikes the eye with a spark of blue. The hue and saturation were at its highest to create this image that draws your attention away from what might be behind, and focuses your mind on the heart.

Photo 3Looking at this image, the eye follows a great number of circles and orbits around the unknown. The background is not black in this one, making room for more color that compliments the main point. Although there is no use of perspective as in other photos, or the use of lines, the orbits allow for the viewer to focus on the center and work their way out, or focus around, and slowly enter another world.

photo 4Photographs do not necessarily have to be taken at different perspectives or angles to be complex. I think this photo is a great use of both simplicity and being complex and "closed in", I feel as though this photo relates to the theme of blocked, closed, or locked away. the bars are covering a fence, which covers a field, and also leads to a horizon, the background. I beleive it truly shows the foreground, middle ground, and background very proficiently.

Although not more than just a pile of books, the photograph is strong in many aspects. instead of taking the photo with the books perfectly in line fo each other and perfectly straight, i chose to take the photo where the books were in all different directions. This also causes the use of some shadow within the binding of the bo0ks and sources of different perspectives. I also decided on taking the picture with the books towards the left end of the frame, rather than the middle. I think this creates another effect of perspective. The off-white color of the books also make the image look aged, against the crisp white background.
Another strong image of perspective is this one here. Taking away the trash cans, the grooves of the cement are not straight and are taken at a different and off-center perspective. The trash cans also add in another off-center dimensional object that appeals to both the senses of touch and sight. Looking at the contrast of the photo and comparing that of the cans and the ground, the viewer can conclude that the cans are of a metal material. The photo looks alive and looks as if it were right in front of you.
